Right, sorry about that. I was just reading it over in the DVB section, and now I see the cables file only does have Ch*rus cable and N*L MMDS listed. Never knew there was a difference between the MMDS services.

    Hi guys.

I have a dbox in Dublin connecting to Ntl.
I was having problems viewing some of the channels so i did a scan & now all of the channels are gone.

I really don't know what to do at this stage.
    Some advice would be appreciated.

When did you lose the channels, what image/software are you using on the box?

The Dub commando image does work. But as you said you are not even picking up the time are you sure you have a live cable feed?

yes. i have the other working d box beside mine. when i connect the cable feed to this it picks up time straight away. its a strange one? i wonder if it is a physical problem rather than with software but the box has worked before and it has been treated with respect. thanks for fast reply!

Leave the Dub Commando image on it and try a booster. What BER/SNR/SIG are you getting?

no. all channels the same. waiting for time, error 'channel not available'.

Its to boost you signal if need be, but I need to know your BER/SNR/SIG first. And I presume you are using it from the direct feed that your working box was on.

OK let it flash as you said you have a working box beside it, I also know the image works. So last thing it may be a faulty tuner.

Not at all, as you release the Dbox is quite old now and like all things suffers with age. Could be something as simple as a dry joint.

Have you flashed the image and still no channels. If so maybe Bigdunc, wiz or Turner may be around later and may have other options. I have to leave for a bit but will be back later, don't give up, always someone here to help ;)
