Dbox In Ireland

Never heard of this before. The blade image says it has gbox, I will try it on mine. I had commando 6 going very well on my sagem 1x and 2x, then after a week it has gone to crap, chirping & freezing again.

 

so what other foreign channels can you get with sat dbox apart from fta channels (do you pick up encrypted foreign channels?). If not then isnt it better to get a cheaper different make sat box for picking up foreign channels.

 

Mine is similar...about every hour it's now freezing...wasn't last week

 

i was using newcamd until last week when N*L changed the keys, now I have to use mgcamd - but it freezes every 10 minutes or so for a few seconds (very annoying).

Is there any explanation as for this? Evocamd doesn't work at the moment either, just displays for 5 seconds then stops.

Should the dbox not automatically update the keys?

 

Delete nagrarom10.bin and nagrarom11.bin in /var/keys and restart evocamd.

I noticed these were disabled on some images I got, why would you delete them? is disabling the same thing?

Is it that it might go for the first key it finds and some would work better than 10 & 11?

 

I have a working image of Sportster 1.10 RC007 with the new encryption keys working with evocamd. I am currently testing the image, and will distribute should I hear feedback from my fellow testers (dbox250 only at the moment...)
You should not have to delete any nagra rom's, you only need to update a key file with the newest NTL keys.
Mgcamd can read keys from a number of different cam's. I don't think that evocamd can do this. Mgcamd freezing drove me to find a solution!

 

just bought a sagem dbox2 from germany in debug mode,can anyone tell me how long a brutscan should take?its been over an hour already

Brutescan's aren't needed alot of people out there have images setup for dublin, with all stations, and good bouquets set up

 

im in limerick on chor^s and very new to this the cable that came with the dbox isnt compatable with the new computer i got so just trying the brut scan to see how i get on but its takin forever

Enable Evocamd only

(The latest keys were listed as being from Friday 25th of May but have since been updated, but not changed)

is there any way to get this dbox up and running by just doin brutforce its been scaning for hours and its only on 129 out of 282 transponders any info would be greatly appreciated

Great info and thanks. Any way of getting the dreambox working as all the channels were lost after the key roll. Thought this box was the b***** until I realised that it did not Auto update the keys.Swithching CAMDS only seemed to offer a temporary solution as there was freezing on the channels. Have had major grief from family etc: in not being able to watch the telly. Long live the DBox !!!!

 

using the mgcamd after adding this to keylist sorted it for me...it works on evocamd also...

will monitor and see what happens...

are the keys still in both files?

 

only in keylist.txt dont have a softcam.reg...

i put it in rebooted and it worked, after a few secs (30) it stopped...
