Simply delete nagrarom10.bin and nagrarom11.bin in /var/keys and restart evocamd.
DaveBox has no clue what he is talking about.
The new keyroll method for rom10 and rom11 is not supported from the emus. Evocamd write wrong keys to Keylist.txt if the wrong au method is selected in the camd_cfg.

Is there a way of manually entering the keys with the remote on the Dreambox, like on the Starview and Eurovox Max.

Why should you do that. Auto update via rom7 is still functional.

When I disabled them they worked... I hope I havent made a pigs boll** of my SoftCam.Key Keylist.txt

If I disable them with the remote, will it do the same as deleting them?

Well that explains why evocamd is working on my dbox, without the need to delete any nagra rom's?
Using debug from MgCamd, showed me the appropriate keys, my assumption was that autoupdate for the keys was non-functional in evocamd.

I put the new blade image on my sagem 1x & sagem 2x. Deleted nagra 10 & 11 and set them to gbox emu(as per mgb17's recommendation). Put on my services, cables, bouquets.

Took about 10 mins on both before channels appeared. Then it worked flawlessly for about 3 hours on my 2x (though watching a film so not flicking around). I was told the 1x stalled for 1 second in about 2-3 hours but just a stall and he was flicking around a lot. Then my 2x started acting up, but in a much better way than usual. No chirping, no pixelation, the screen just goes black for a second and comes straight back again. At the start I thought it was just in the program, like when they change to a new scene.

I always thought it was a pain that it would stall and freeze, mean you had to flick over and back, or do a full reboot. This blade image seems to just sort itself out. Best I have used so far.

Commando 6 had been running OK on the sagems and then went bad. For some reason I was unable to connect to my 1x commando 6 box to back up the image, same happened with my mates, I had to use IFA to flash them.

    I have dublin copies of blade 1x & 2x, and commando 8.1 on 1x & 2x.

Commando 8.1 became unstable too but the tips in the previous posts might help. If anybody wants an image pm me your email AND what image AND what version 1x or 2x.

I'm running Commando 8.2 on a Nokia dbox.

    I disabled rom's 3, 10 and 11 (leaving 7 enabled), selected evocamd and rebooted.

Everything is working dorey hunkey now.

I suppose the advantage of deleting the BIN files is that they don't appear on the ROM list??

It looks like you never detected that option in the camd_cfg:
    # AU
    # 00 is ignored (default)
    # 01 enable AU
    # 02 AU Auto
    A: { 01 }

If it set to 01 evocamd handle every incoming EMM and write wrong keys from a rom10 update at top of Keylist.txt.
If it set to 02 evocamd stop updating if a valid key was found.
If you take a look at your keylist.txt you will see the wrong rom10 keys but you was lucky and the AU option was set to 02. In such a case evocamd stops after a rom7 update.
You really have no clue what you are talking about.

Inside the most images there is no option to enable or disable rom versions.
If you disable rom10 and rom11 in your image you get the same effect.

If set to 01 evocamd handle every incoming EMM. If set to 02 evocamd start auto update only if the keys in the Keylist.txt are nomore valid.
If valid keys are found evocamd stops au.
