    Hi There,
This is my first post so hopefully someone can help me out. So far I have found this site to be extremely helpful so thanks to everyone for their posts and answers in the past.
I've set-up a couple of Nokia D-Box 2's now and so far so good. Yesterday I was FTPing the cables.xml file over to a unit but when I went into service scan afterwards I couldn't select N** Dublin or anything else apart from CableUK Sym6952. I FTP'd this file over to other units but for some reason its not working on this one.
The funny this is that when I view the cables file I can see it is the correct one as I can see all of the various provider options listed.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Paul

You need to delete the scan confg file in the same folder then reboot the box.

Also in some images there are 2 folders with cables.xml. One of them seems to do nothing so if you replace it there nothing will happen.

is fast scan set to off?
Are there other chorus scans you can try?
my cable.xml has chorus cable and chorus bruteforce.
If you need it pm me your email. I have combined benifa's & mgb17's & sadams cables into one big one.

Try the cables.xml from irish7.zip and choose chorus cable.

Which additional channels do you get from chorus bruteforce and what is the frequency. Red button -> blue button.

Download the services.xml with the 32 channels, open it and post the used frequencies.

I emailed you my cables, but reading that you might have no luck since it is probably the same.

I have found somedays I get no channels on NTL due to the work they are doing, or they come in at different settings when I check my service.xml.

Best bet might be getting a service.xml file from somebody in your area on chorus.

Deleting the scan.conf file did the trick. Everything is fine now.

    Thanks WIZ569, nice one!

    Cheers,
    Paul

Without frequency such a list makes not sense.
The frequencies which were found are interesting.
    I guess 3 or 4 were found.

Cork is a other story. Chorus in Cork is covered in the cables.xml.
Without feedback about the used frequencies in Limerick/Naas its not possible to change anything.
