Has anyone got a service file that will work with Chorus in Meath (Ashbourne)? I put one on with the Chorus Cable and Chorus Bruteforce and got nothing, not even 1 transponder.

 

Are you sure you get true cable via ex Chorus.
Check a subscriber box.

 

Check everything. A guy I know got in boxes for his family. 3 reports of them not working.
1.-guy didnt plug the coax in the back at all.
2.-house had no ntl connection at all.
3.-somebody went into the emu settings and switched to sbcam (probably pissed and then just claimed it was broken)

 

when i do this i can get newcamd and evocamd working but everytime i turn off and on my box the codes seem to have not saved and i have to restart them cam to get the picture back.if i use mgcam it always works when i turn it on and dont have to do this but the picture is stuttering and i want to use the other two.is their anyway to make newcamd and evocam save the keys so it works upon bootup without having to restart them.

sounds like you dont have rights. If you can ftp, maybe try changing your write rights using chmod

 

Anyone else having trouble with NTL in Dublin today?
Everything was fine last night.. Today it's just FTA.

What ROM/Cam/Ucode are you using if all is still working?

 

Had a Sagem working downstairs fine this morning, but not working tonight, have another Sagem upstairs with Commando 8.20 (irish cables) and this appears to be working fine.

Am about to swap them around and try get the non-working one back in action properly. Will let ye know how I get on!!

There was an N*T*L feck that happened today that forced normal n*t*l boxes to be rebooted for digi... all working in dub now though

Can anyone tell me does the Nokia Dbox2 (or any other box) work on Chorus cable in Navan (or anywhere) Co. Meath. Can't seem to find any info on this. Are the boxes on ebay the best to buy or is there somewhere else better.

Had trouble with commando 8.2 with only 7 enabled. Rebooted and channels came back. Same with blade on a 1x running gbox, some stations blacked for a few seconds. All came back. I have heard people having trouble with normal pace boxes too though.

 

Thanks. Originally had 7 and 11 enabled, which seemed to be causing the problem. Don't know what changed that it no longer worked, but seemed to be NTL messing..

Had a bit of trouble enabling 7, as everytime I went back into the Nagra settings '7' was disabled again. Sorted in the end though.

 

mgb17 tried the test 4 file got 139 tv 33 radio and 2 data,have posted the sevices file at the link below,thanks again.

finally got my dbox working with the help of a friend, but am wondering why im only getting 3 or 4 of the ski movie chanels...is this correct or do i need an updated service file?

it only takes 5 mins and everything is up and running,will there be a new updated irish cables file now that includes limerick?cheers for everything mgb17 finally have a box up and running in limerick
