Hi guys. I have two working Nokia dbox2 in Dublin area. I took one down for my farther in law who is on c-oras digital. I didn't have a connection to link to the digital type receiver he is using. I will be going down again and will buy the satellite connection to link the dbox to the tv. Before I do can anyone tell me if this will work with this c-oras set up. He is in limerick city area.

He has a black cable coming into a small box with connector that screw in like a satellite dish. From this a lead to the tv. I don't know if this is true cable or digital. I assume digital because of the set up. What you think. Can I get it running. don't want to buy connectors and travel to limerick with the box if I cant get it set up.

The small box is the power inserter for the mmds antenna. You get mmds.
If you get chorus mmds you need a device with dvb-t tuner.

So the dbox wont work or do I need another piece of equipment. Sounds like a bit of hassle and as some may have read before I am not the most technologically minded individual. Thanks to all for previous advice and any further help with this.

If you get chorus mmds you need a box with dvb-t tuner.
True cable is using dvb-c and the cable boxes are not functional with chorus mmds.

Hi all, need a bit of help. I had my sagem box working fine for the last few months but suddenly its stopped working. I lost most of my channels, I only get rte1, rte2 and a few others. Does anybody else have the same problem?

I know they changed the frequency as this happened on the starview box and a factory default and rescan sorted it. Where do I get the latest cables file?

So it looks like the freq changed affected the starview and the sagem dbox but not the nokia dbox?
