i use the digitalworlds 1.6.5 image, go to www.techno-source.co.uk and it is in the downloads section,in fact their is one that is a backup for dublin there aswell

Hi all, have a db2 in cork on ChorAss, all was working fine up to the day before yesterday, when almost all channels went blank, hope someone can help

 

try changin the cam or u code and restart the box if all else fails just do a rescan what image you using?

 

using commando 8.2, just says decode pending on the EPG menu

 

when did you put it on,and did you put on the magic keys,try using evocamd or mgcamd with either ucode 1a or 14 reboot and then give it a little time to decode

 

Crisis over......for some strange reason it has decided to work again, did nothing to it, might just have something to do with ChorAss,

Hi I am brand new & not familiar with the tech terms used, but I bought a 500c & cant get it to work (tearing my hair out). I have not got a clue with the terms used & wondered if there is a simple guide that would take me from start to finish to get the box working. I borrowed one & it worked fine on the chorus signal & i copied down the details (freq & sy rate but no joy). Can you help please?

did i read or hear somewhere that dreamworldz now has version 1.6.5 released ? can anyone point me to it or somewhere i can download it, or would you be able to email it to me ?

Thanks but Im unfamiliar with terms & processes, what is "flash a UK modded image for dream 500" where do I get it how do I transfer it to box. Once I have "flashed" do i do a manual scan as before?

try the digitalworldz 1.65 its solid out you can get it at www.digitalworldz.co.uk you can get the guides on how to flash the dreambox as well

Thanks, but still no further forward I think its been flashed (if i understand correctly) but it just wont find anything when i scan. also i note that the sym rate & trans freq has zeros at the end on the code list i downloaded but when I borrowed a box that worked the zero's were at the start i.e sy r 06875 & trans fr 00314 but the code list has it the other way round. also fec was set to auto whereas the code list states 3 which doesnt come up on mine its either auto , 1/2 2/3 & so on. Modulation is auto or 32 or 64 & so on not "3" as on the code list. Am i missing something small or am i way off?
