DBOX2 - Lost Channels

    Use a aditional nullmodem cable for flashing and check the log output. All other things are only speculation.
    You can get a nullmodem cable via ebay for 0.99 .

    using a null modem cable and rs232 both conected to box

    had a message box come up in german and clicked ok button then nothing , have put in earlier post what it said

    If you flash with nullmodem cable and crossover cable and you select flashing with nullmodem inside IFA you get a full side of messages in the IFA window after plug in the box.

    it went through the motions of numbers and letters and a hole lot of other thing and last one said it was done

    Post the last 10 lines from the IFA window.

    If you see anything at all in the LCD then there's a chance you can restore the box with IFA. If there is nothing then the box is damaged, although I have never known this to happen just using IFA, did you use the correct image for your box?

    Just tried again and this is what bottom 10 lines said
    unprotected 63 sectors

    THEN THE MESSAGE IN GERMAN COMES UP and toPRESS OK

    NOTHING HAPPENS AFTER THAT EXEPT IT SHUTS DOWN AND LEFT WITH MESSAGE4 ON TV SCREEN DBOXFLASHINGASSISTENT IS WORKING ON YOUR DBOX AND THAT HAS BEEN THERE FROM START

    Close IFA, unplug the box wait a little bit and replug.
    You should see something at the tv screen. The box need a few seconds for booting up.
