    can anyone help me out with settings for dbox as i cant get many channels,also a copy of user guide would be very helpfulim in edinburgh area and was with telepest

    Wot image is on it How is your scan set up

    im in EDINBURGH and was with telewest/virgin
    i dont know what the settings are all i know is the box has sportster installed

    On your remote push the d box button to get the menu up
    Then service
    Service scan
    Now tell me wot it says in there from top to bottom....Paul

    from the top is as follows.
    scan for all services,
    bouquet - update existing,
    cable provider - sym 6952,
    fast scan - on,
    manual scan - off,
    frequency,
    symbol rate,
    fec - 1/2,
    polarization - h

    If you push the blue botton on your remote wot does it say

    2,tuxbox commander
    3,newsticker
    4,weather[tuxwetter uk]
    [green button]add channel to fav
    [yellow button]timer events
    lock remote
    read epg - on

    Them settings seem about right for your area.....Paul
