My xbox was turning on and off then flashing red and green light with my chip on so I took my box apart to see what was wrong. I ended up re-soldering the d0 point but I kept getting the error. Somehow something else messed up and now it does the on off on off flashing light error without the mod chip.... what is wrong with it and is it fixable?

2nd I was advised that my modchip needed flashed so while my friend had his xbox down here I 'hot swapped' and put my chip in his and attempted to flash it using EvoX. I got the following:
    Flash BIOS
Manufacturers ID ff Device ID ff
    !! Flash Not Writeable !!
I think that means my chip is 'dead'. If so, is it fixible?

Thanks in advance for any help!
