    Just thought i would detail my recent experience with firmware updates as others might have the same problem. I have the Max V box and like everyone else went down end of Nov. The first fix issued would not work and i was getting the 8% signal problem. A couple of days later the 8% fix came out but when trying to flash the box it would not see the recieved and have com port failure. I then tried the original 8% Apr fix and the same problem occured. The box still working and everything but flashing was now a problem. So scratching my head i deleted the serial adaptor driver and reloaded it. This sorted the com port flash problem. I then tried the recent autoroll fix and it flashed ok but had the 8% signal problem was still there. I then thought lets try the recent 8% fix again and it flashed ok and the signal was on max and picked up all the channels fine.

    I know scouser took the 8% fix out of the 4shared downloads but maybe its worth putting back on.

    The Max V 8% signal fix is in Eamo's FTA Library, just checked, have a look and you can get it if you want it.

    Remember its Eamos library not mine. Although it is back in there now, but I had it taken out as some people were having problems with it.

    Like all files although tested use at you own risk.

    @malci evening ;)
