delay in sound on svcd

    ive converted a dvd to svcd no problem but when i play it on the dvd player theres a 1 or 2 second delay between the video and audio like the old dubbed chinse movies
    can someone help?? thanks

    Well this is Probably due to something you did or didn"t do while encodeing to SVCD...Explain the Method you used to convert the Vob files to Mpeg2/SVCD ..Was the Mpeg2 file you created out of Sync before you Burned it to CD-R?? Because you did watch the File before Burning it didn"t you ??

    i used smartrip dvd2avi TMPGEnc fitcd just like in the guide
