There is a screensaver that I deleted a long time ago. Yet, it still shows up as being there in the screensaver listing. Is there a way to delete this?
If you'd rather not pop for the $20 and pick up something like registry booster to simply and safely clean out your registry, then as long as you're comfortable in searching, backing up and deleting unwanted registry entries, I'd search for that screensaver's software producer's name and/or the screensaver's name, then do your thing.
It's that msn screensaver that I got from there website some time ago. It was still in beta. I know, I know I shouldn't have. I know that now. Yet, still cannot get rid of the listing. I put in msnscreensaver.
Screensaver files should all end in .scr Search you c drive and see if you fine it. In the registry search for screensaver. You should find them in the HKCU and HK_user areas. But being microsoft msn it's probably hidden well. Be carefull what you delete
