Deleted my Ms Dash, now cant FTP or bootup.

Wont boot of any Disks just sticks on ms logo..

 

if error 21 still occurs seek medical attention (sounds like cheesy medical advice on shampoo lol) if it still happens that means the mod chips not in right

did you get a programmer with ur chip u might need to put a bios on... unless its already on and check that all the points on the mod chip are installed firmly and without a short.. check every point and in the mod chip instructions it should say that you can boot the xbox using the switch on the mod chip that boots the bios try playing with the settings....

if it boots to the bios shove in slayers disc or AID (auto installer deluxe) or if you can get a browser you can download a copy of the dash and somehow transfer it accross

hey does anyone know if the xbox can understand C or C++ coz i can make an installer kinda like a batch file that extracts its stuff to the main C partition probably only works with the bios

anyone tell what Programming language bioses are written in... i might be a able to make a browser.... I can code in almost anything lol (im not boasting much) XD

 

first of ty 4replying, iv managed 2 get it2 boot with a linux distro put straight on to the harddrive.

ill resolder rverything back in 2 morrow at work.. i should be able 2 ftp 2 it with a bit of luck..

no i didnt get a programmer with it, i got the aladdin xt+ but no programmer .. is there a way 2 see if it has bios installed?

yeh lol i have the same problem using my psp to write emails etc

i just sold my psp and got £50 for it at game so im gonna buy the Xecutor 3 ce and the solder less adapter so i can rescue both xboxs and store it in a safe place lol

glad urs went ok im gunna buy the solderless adapter as i cant solder as i have dislocated my thumb on my right hand and it f***ing kills!! did it yesterday playing golf lol
