Deleted My Xbox Hard Drive

Well, I'm almost done. Only one question left. I set up xbox live and played it successfully. I then reinstalled evox and xbmc. They both work great seperatelly. However, whenever I want to play halo2 on live, I coldboot it and it asks me to update live. It updates fine, but disables the softmod when that happens. Then I have to manually reinstall evox. I've done this twice. How do I fix it so that I can use evox with xbmc and halo 2 on live without constantly having to reinstall the softmod. Thank you.
