heh heh. Erm..."Adobe CS3." Though I think I have to go to CS4 for windows 7. I think I ran into a problem installing CS3 on "7" last time. CS4 is compatible with vista. I suppose I could try again. I ran CS4 once upon a time, but never on XP, because it wanted SP3. At the time, I frowned at SP3. Now I don't. The last SP3 update went REALLY well.

Never ran those versions of photoshop fred. Went straight for the bigdog LOL!

And it would appear that, what ever the problem was before, it has now disappeared with the RC version of Windows 7. I believe it was the beta I tried installing it on before. VERY cool. I didn't even have to tell it any compatibility modes. :D At least Fireworks and Photoshop anyway LOL!

SP3 gave me full resolution support for remote desktop in XP (2560x1600). Sp2 was limited to 1600x1200, eugh.

Hah, the last episode of voyager, I'm only on series 1 of DS9 so far, got a long way to go yet!

I guess im a hypocrite sam LOL! I TOO have some catching up to do. Fact of the matter is, I haven't yet seen all of the Original series of star trek. Which is where this wallpaper comes from. S03E05 "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" It didn't upscale to great, but it looks ok. I used an onOne plugin with photoshop called "Genuine Fractals Pro 6.0" I still haven't perfected using it LOL!

One step at a time, im getting better. This is my latest work in Photoshop CS3. I can't seem to get enough of photoshop LOL! :)
I didn't post my desktop because its a mess right now :( Working on that LOL. But this IS my current wallpaper :D I have it in 2560 X 1600 if anyone is interested. And i'll continue to get better. I will begin submitting on Interfacelift, once I believe my work merits praise, acknowledgment. I'm now open to criticism and suggestions. Please TELL me what more this picture needs to become a masterpiece LOL!

I now know how to render rings on a planet. So please don't suggest that. Im currently attempting that feat! LOL!

I have since changed the brightness of the sun/star. The present wallpaper you see here, resembles a red giant. I was not trying to achieve that nature. Simply a normal sun. It looks much better now.

omega, you need some stars & galaxies in the background.

LOL! I was thinking something like that. Its just not...BUSY enough LOL! Thanks for the input. Im thinking in my next, there will be a neighboring galaxy, a black hole, a space station, a nebulae, etc. The next one will be superior in many ways :D

There are stars in the background, but I think you mean more distant suns, correct?

Hers a little preview of whats to come :D I added a couple more stars, brightened the sun, a ring around the odd planet, an emboss on the earth clouds giving them a more 3 dimensional appearance.
