Well....I thought I'd show my linux Desktop Just reinstalled it BTW...Ubuntu is a pain in the arse. P.S Look at the wallpaper
well...I thought the last one was boring so I put together this desktop with a program called gdesklets(Like Yahoo widgets in windows) I like this and probubley will keep it
i haven't posted a recent desktop pic because my laptop is used primarily in Linux now (Mandriva 2006 64-bit version), hardly ever use XP on here now; in KDE (K Desktop Environment) i have upwards of 2000 desktop pics on random, so after 60 seconds i always have a new desktop to look at Have done the same on my 'media PC', 32-bit version of Mandriva 2006; that machine is hooked up to my 32" LCD TV so i get the same selection of desktop pics, randomised, in huge size too
This is from a program you can get on Linux.......where you can play a movie in your backround.....I love it. I just poped in my backup of Saw II and let it play it is sweet http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/646/screenshotaw6.png Link as it is too big...
My Latest : http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a230/Hobboz/metroidhalo.jpg -Mike changed to a link as pic was fouling margins due to pic size
You need XGL/Compiz. I have Ubuntu, I don't know if it will work on other distros. But I am guessing if you can run XGL/Compiz than you can do it. Here's the tutorial I followed: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=223231
Here's my latest : http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b366/DanielGravesNL/eae291f4.jpg And yes, that background is meant as a sarcastic joke to all the 1337 kiddies here
Hey, it's the Dutch winxp, what you expect? they didn't have one in Afrikaans, or one in US english, so i decided to go with that one... And yeah, it's a funny thing that.
The original osx http://img369.imageshack.us/img369/4546/theoriginaloq0.jpg if i was at home i could show you my pc desktop, it has a firefox background.
