c1c: no,desktop backgrounds don't slow the PC down in any way, it can just look tidier with a neutral colour backdrop.

Oh I have folders to try and minimise the mess. I have 450gb worth of folders. I gots folders coming out the waazoo. And the torrent files on the desktop...are um, not for downloading. uhhh, they are for something else. People who chat to me on mIRC may know what those ones are for. I have spoken at great length with people about some of the uses for torrent files:) even helped a couple of people with ratios & the like.

    Here's my desktop pic.

@Bubba, it looks like we're both using the basic Style XP theme. I've grown quite attached to it.

[EDIT: I decided to change the upload file to a jpeg, rather than a png.]

What's happened there? You've got the syntax right, but it hasn't shown the image.

Creaky: The picture of Poltergeist there suddenly made me remember the parody of it that Family Guy did. "The exit is Meg's ass?" lol

ryan1515, edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP. yours is 191,694 bytes not 50k as per forum specs.
    2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.

Hey creaky what are the names of those programs you're using? The toolbar and the sidebar names would be appreciated. That is gnome isn't it?
