You need to download the drivers for each and install them yourself. The windows "Update" function is pretty useless. If you don't know were to get the drivers if you can give me the make and model of the modem and videocard I'll locate the drivers for you.

it doesn't say the name ou model of any of then.maybe i'm looking in the wrong place.
i rite click on device and shows
    device type:eek:ther device
    manufacturer:unknow
    location:pci bus,device 0,function 0

on the pci modem the only difernc is on location :pci bus, device 31,function 6

    device status:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver

If you can take the modem and videocard out of their slots on the motherboard the cards themselves will have all the info. If your not able to provide this info I,unfortunately, wont be able to assist you.
