differnece in bd reader and bd writer?

    a silly question i know, and i should know the answer but for some reason i dont :( would fab dvd copy/read a blu ray disc using only a blu-ray drive that is a reader not one that writes the blu-ray disc?

    A Reader drive will only Read (Play) a disc. In order to burn a disc you will need a drive that is able to Write as well.

    A drive that is able to Write will be able to Read. Not all drives that Read are able to Write.

    cheers i thought so, i dont need to burn the disc, just to read it through fabdvd
