I bought it sometime last year (with a rebate) at Best Buy. Final cost? $2.99 (for a box of 100) with a rebate. Used it all up & turned out to be good media.

Even though the media is marked 16x Nero says a top speed of 32x & it burned fine at that speed. The burner is a TDK VeloCD 4800b.

Here's the listing for an already burned (last year) CDR.

    Manufacturer : Ritek
    Code : 97m15s17f
    Disc Type : CD-R
    Usage : General
Recording Layer : Dye Type 7: Short Strategy (Phthalocyanine)
    Recording Speed : n/a
    Capacity : 79:59.74
    703 MB
    Additional Capacity : n/a
    Overburn Capacity : not tested

No errors & only a few minor dips in the graph with Nero CD-DVD speed.

Don't know what speed Digital Research is rated for now or who makes the CD's.
