Hi everyone. I have a Digital Research Technologies Internal IDE 8X DVD±RW/±R Dual Format Drive. ID String is GENERIC DVD RW 8XMAX and firmware is 100E. I'm having problems writing faster than 1.1x on Sony DVD+Rs. I burn with DVD Decrypter and the buffer is always jumping all over the place. Anyone have suggestions on how to up the speed or if there are any brand media that's been tested with this burner and works better? Thanks!

Yes!!! Thank you so much... it's awesome to be able to burn at 4x instead of 1.1x! And the buffer doesn't look like it's on speed anymore hahah. Thanks!
