Digivox in Ireland

Hi All,
Got a digivox and all was well until I somehow scrambled every channel.
Must have deleted password or something.
Any help would be really appreciated.

harpo did u do a factory reset as in wiped off all channels? if not system info ok 1004 key emu to on exit exit,if u have done a reset u will have to autoscan ur provider to get channels.

 

Anyone know why the Celtic Tv is gone? Tried doing a full scan and a single scan on the channel but still nothing....

 

Also does anyone know why the teletext doesn't work on Utv or C4 now.

 

mainamn.password overide 1004 does not work,as i tried putting in 1111 to test delete 1004 it kept on asking for password.

 

password overide on digivox 1668 ,just in case u forget what pin u used.

No, haven't tried it. Surprised to hear there's new bin file out for digivox so soon after last one. I just uploaded the v600 of firmware...works a treat.


Hey, does anybody know if digivox firmware or similar can be uploaded onto those silvercrest boxes you get from lidl or has anybody ever tried something similar?????

 

Have been trying the new firware over the weekend. It gives 13 favourites and a crisper picture. I can see that C**rus is also included in the autoscan for Ireland. Thumbs up

 

Did you edit the channel list ok on v2800? As I've tried editing using the starview channel editor but it wouldn't upload to the Digvox via downloader 10. Any ideas?

The channels have to be edited with the remote at the moment. I am sure a new channel editor will be released soon.
I got the firmware from another forum. Don't think it would go down too well if i posted a link to that.
Usually the digivox updates are at www.nokias.co.uk but nothing on there yet

Does anyone know if starview works on ch*rus cable? the normal cable I mean not mmds. if so what provider do u use as I don't see ch*rus in the providers menu.

 

what exactly does v2800 give you that the v2600 doesn't??? just wondering is it worth upgrading????

 

Am going to try today. I order NTL 3 weeks ago and I had to ring them back... typical ha! Anyway, she says I have NTL in my apartment... it's MMDS - what does that mean to me, is that good for the Digivox? I dont see an aerial outside...

 

not sure if v2800 is the one that has ch*rus included in it. Anyone got a download link for v2800?
