hi all, ive got a little question,i have the latest filmware on my box (which i think is great) and what i have noticed is that the info bar that appeares whenever you change channel does not change, you can bring it up to date if you turn off and on again is anyone else have this problem?

 

I've upgraded to v.4000 and it's a bit rubbish. Can't put anything in to my own favorites and when I put something into the built in favorites it doesn't show up in the epg. Anybody having the same problem?

 

I've been using my digivox for a couple of weeks now and no problems so far. I'm still struggling to add my own favourites but that might be me pressing the right buttons in the wrong order

Question for those in the know. I've just checked my system info and it states

Model Name : Digivox
S/W version : V04-0.00000BK
Boot version : 01
Date : 1.Jan.2007

Is this the latest version?
If it isnt do i need to upgrade?

yes vers 4 is most up to date however i have heard of problems with it so i am not changing from vers 2.800

 

Yeah, like I said on the post before, v4.000 isn't great. Puts the wrong channels in the preset favourites and doesn't allow you to add channels to the custom ones. Apart from that it's alright, but would be nice to have that bug sorted out.

 

Yeah, I upgraded the software a few weeks ago. Having the same problem as craigstar. Had to manually put them into the correct folders but the EPG shows them all wrong. Also lately I've noticed the EPG itself doesn't update itself. I have to power off using switch at rear then wait a few seconds and then it refreshes itself. Would I do any harm to the box if I back roll the software to it's previous version?

Thanks cactikid, I've downloaded the 2.8 bin file from eamo's shared files ( thanks Eamo)! Will roll back over the next few days. Turned on my box 2nite and couldn't get S***n*a S****s, all kinds of wierd msgs like scrambled channel, updating, etc. I figured they'd changed the keys again. Anyways, did a rescan and the list was all over the shop.Once again had to manually remove some channels from the preset faves ( Performance channel in the Sports folder anyone)? Like yourself am gonna wait until they patch it b4 downloading again.

There are links to updates on the pages above. I wouldn't recommend updating to v4.00 yet, I#d say 2.8 is the best version at the moment.
Does your laptop have a serial com port?

My Laptop has no serial port,its a dell Inspiron 6000

Will wait until reccommendations on upgrading.

My date is stuck on 01Jan07, is this fixable ?

You can change the date in the user setup section. But date on the firmware version I think always the same.

 

if date is wrong on epg page no info will be displayed,power off box then on u should get epg working again.
