Managed to sort the Chdl freeze.
Power off the Digivox and then start the flash download on the pc, after 2 secs power on the digivox and the download will begin.
    Chdl error is now clear.

    Hi Guys

Got the version 2.8 on my digivox and accidently wiped the channels - did a search - got them back and everything is fine

    BUT.............

none of the channel names are there - they used to have BBC HD or whatever S*y sports 1 etc etc

Now nothing - all channel 5000 and have names of TV 1001 or TV 59 etc etc

Any ideas how to get them back without manually editing the names???

I'd be careful with those converters, they don;t work very well.

Folks, does anyone know if there is a real firmware release for the starview 1 clone? I seen lots of people complaining about a fake version out there. Anyone got a genuine working firmware fix for starview 1 clones yet?

There is a real firmware fix out for the Starview clone it is called CryptStar-v-1.4-Core257Bin and you will find it at this link - just go into Starview Folder 7th down and then into Firmware 2nd down and it is the 2nd file down. Fully tested and officially released - certified safe for clone thanks to Sunrise (Full Auto-Roll)
