Hey guys, back again, with another problem unfortunately.

Got the box working fine now, so fine, that i decided to order a 2nd one for the father. That one arrived today. I've done everything i can think of the exact same as with the first box, but when i do a manual scan at 506mhz, all i get is the 4 free to air irish channels.

The other box is sitting right beside it, working fine, all 87 channels in and working, BUT if i do the manual scan on that one as well now, it's only finding 4 channels too.
Does anyone know what level this sort of problem is at? Is it a firmware thing? Hardly. I've flash it with digivox_ter_v3300, i've the right codes in, EMU on, all that.

Does anyone know why the first box, which scanned fine 5 days ago and found all 87 channels, only finds 4 channels now? (It still has all 87, it hasn't lost them when i did the 2nd scan). I feel like i'm overlooking really obvious here.

    Thanks again.

Ok, kind of got it sorted.

I just started doing a seperate manual scan at 506, 514, 522, 530mghz, and i'm finding them now, 5 or 6 channels at a time.

Only thing is, none of them have their proper names, it's TV4501, TV4502 etc.

Anyone know why it is that it hasn't found all 87 in one scan starting at 506 this time, or why the proper channel names aren't coming through properly?

Not naming them is a glitch with the box, Do a factory reset, and then turn off power for 30 seconds, power up and start again!
Might have to try it a few times, dont forget to turn on emu again!!

    Cactikid,
Thanks for a speedy reply. No splitters installed, could be maintenance, will wait and see what happens over the coming days

    Hi all,

I am a visitor from replay lite land. A mate of mine in Clonmel has asked me to get him a box

From reading here I take it that the signal down there is MMDS and the box I should be getting him is a Digivox T (is there equivalent boxes ?) Am I correct so far.

    thanks

    f

All the T boxes can only be used on Chxxus mmds as Digivox T can, some others examples are Eurovox TX, The Box T or Dreambox 500T.
