digivox t.......no hidden menu!!

    hello i recently bought a digivox t , but when it comes to getting up the hidden menu when i type in 1004 nothing comes up, i have tried numerous different things that were on forums but the hiddden menu will not pop up. i have another box which is working fine. any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

    hi if memory serves me i think you have to go in to system info and type in 1006

    Cheers for the reply,but ive tried 1006,1004,1570 numerous others. would you reckon it could be a software problem?

    checked and its main menu then system information then 1004 , if this wont work backup your channels and do a re flash

    if box is new and not updated u cannot access emu.to see try menu-system info ok1004 -key emu to on exit out.

    Thanks for the reply!!but yeah i tried and no luck, i asked the seller and he said he must of forgot to flash with firmware, i know the process for flashing the eurovox and starview boxes,is it similar for the mmds digivox t boxes?i have downloaded " downloader 10" and "digivox_z20081222_v4300_api" is this the correct firmare i need? Nice one again for any help.

    The above firmware is for the DIgivox cable box.If you definitely
    have the Digivox T which is a terrestrial box the firmware you need
    is digivox_ter_v3300.

    hi lads just wondering is there a fix for the digivox t or do you still have to put codes in manually any help would be great cheers.

    hi can anyone help have a digivox t(silver with black front) and it has s/w version v03-1.0000t tryed bringing up hidding menu using 1004 1006 1570 and nothing happened, also tryed flashing on 3300v but wont go on have all channels but all are scambled / bad channel

    did it flash,check menu system info-v???it should say v3300.
    is it a digivox t u have for c****s mmds? or is it the ordinary silver/black model as that firmware is v4300 ,to switch emu on-menu-system info1004

    no didnt flash tryed putting on v4300 first then tryed v3300, neither wont go on, came up flash failed.
    yea its chorus mmds i think, using the square type ariel.
    also tryed pressed menu scrolled down to system information and pressed 1004. what ya think the issue might be.

    Did you press ok on system information before entering 1004.Also
    if 1004 does not work first time you have to press exit and press
    ok on system information again making sure you're pointing remote
    at box and not at tv.

    hi again yea i ok it on system information.
    could see digivox t and s/w version v03-1.0000t and pressed 1004
    when using the seriel cable do u need to load a driver for it to work.

    Are you sure you have a Digivox-T.If you have you should have
    Digivox-T on the right front.You said you have all the channels
    but are scrambled.Go into menu and do a factory reset.Then try and
    load the firmware(digivox_ter_v3300) which is the latest.The reason
    I think you are not able to enter 1004 is because you have not got
    a later version of firmware other than the one you are using.Also make sure you are using downloader 10 when installing the firmware.
    Tick the APP box on front of downloader when installing the firmware.After doing a factory reset and you are now connected to pc you should see "on" on the front of box.Proceed with download.The downloader and firmware are available in Eamos library.

    he still has freeview as box has not flashed,possibly wrong cable,it is a null modem cable u have?? pc with xp and serial port?

    hi again didnt get a chance to try it last night will try tonight..
    have a seriel cable (male) 2 usb and a cable with seriel (female) each end.. so i pluged the usb into me windows xp and male into female and female end into back of box..what ya think would that been the problem...

    hi again got it sorted after got the firmware flashed on the driver for it wasnt loaded properly on .... cheers for your help...owe ya one....
