Is it ok to disable processes in my task manager like ipodservice.exe and ituneshelper.exe? I dont have an ipod so it's useless but just wanted to make sure first. Will end process take care of these for good?

It is safe to end them but they will come back after a reboot. You can use programs like EasyCleaner from toniarts to permenetly stop them at startup.
