Um it looks like if he expands that little pop up window it will look mopre like a stardard open/save whateevr window with the location bar at top folders and files in middle and selection on bottom. not positive but it sure looks like it. from the size it is now you wouldnt be able to see the files and folders even though your at a certain location so you couldnt open anything aunless you typed the name.
Actually 7.0.8.2 is the latest "stable" version of Nero at present. What type of files are you trying to burn to DVD
avi file. I could not select the file cos of the screen which popped up mentioned in the previous thread. Also previously when installing 7.0.8.2. it asked for serial number. The serial number which came with the download had expired so I was copied the serial number from the latest version of Nero 7 and pasting it onto 7.0.8.2 to instal 7.0.8.2. I do not want to pay to upgrade to Nero 7 yet as I cant seem to get it going. Ta
Did you try opening the folder where your AVIs are stored, highlight them and then drag and drop into NVE, this is all I do once NVE is open.
Gwendolin,.thankyou for all your help with nero last weekend ..but will stick with nero 6 until all the bugs of 7 are sorted out and nero can offer a good product ...that works !..
