I've no idea what brand my disc drive is but under Device Manager it's called HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCC4482. I'm having two issues with my drive. Firstly it's having difficulty reading some DVDs. These DVDs are blank discs that have been written on with data. Secondly, I'm almost positive that it used to be able to write using Disc-At-Once technology but now no longer can. If you have Nero, run Nero Info Tool to find the drives capabilities.
