DISCS

    Why is it when I burn an iso to a dvd-rw. it wont read, yet I can pick up discs from the local shops' some will read and some wont!!. there seems to be good and bad brands etc. does anyone know what is the best dvd-r/dvd+r and for which game etc

    i couldn't get dvd-+r's to work in mine either. i just went and bought a $40 Lite-On PC dvd-rom drive and use that whenever i need to use recorded media.

    I've found that Maxell dvd-r work great for me. I've also tried Memorex (don't work worth a f--k). Even tried Sony dvd-r and dvd-rw, but neither work to great. Haven't had one problem with Maxell yet.

    DVD-R's that worked for me;Ritec/Pine/General

    Thanks to all of you guys for the advice on the dvd thing. It will save a few expensive mistakes in the future.
