    Hello,

I have Windows XP and 2 Drives (C and G). My G drive contains all my media files and some videogame software. After playing a game that is located on G, I closed the game, and my computer got stuck. I restarted manually and it seems as if my drive doesn't exisit!

I first opened cmd to see if I could see my files from there. Nope, I get this error: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). Anytime I try to open the G drive from My Computer it asks me to format it because it hasn't been formated.

I scanned for Norton for viruses, did WinDoctor and tried DiscDoctor (but it did not work because the drive almsot 'doesn't exisit).

Anyone can help me recover my files? I'd be greatly appreciated,

    Thank you, -Alex
