can anyone help me with the new divx codec (5.1), i am trying use the afterdawn guide to backup my dvd 2 divx, i can get up to "basic video settings" and then i get lost with the saving of the pass settings, because i do not how to create a 2nd pass with the new divx 5.1 codec help, this is becuase the guide is really only for divx codec 5.0, help anyone
Okay when you want to do 2 passes, you first select Mulitpass, 1st pass, then enter your selected bitrate and other settings you want. Save the avi and check the Do Not Run Box as stated in the guide. Go back to the Divx encoding menu and select Multipass, nth pass and enter the same selections as the 1st pass. Save the avi and check that box again. Then encode.
