    Hi,
Whenever I've try to encode a movie with this new codec (divx 5 pro 5.0.2)the file size is bigger compare to divx 4 file size. I've try to change few parameters in the codec setting with no luck. Divx web site (www.divx.com) mention 40% decrease in file sixe when using divx 5, my result show 50% increase in file size.

    what am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.

I don't know how to tweak DivX 5 pro manually, but fortunately for you, I do know how to do it the easy way.

This will guide you through the setup of Gordian Knot, which is an excellent front end for the DivX 5 codec, and it allows you to adjust settings according to what file size you want in the end..

    Good Luck!
