DivX on DVD? and Dreamcast

    is there a way to play a DivX movie disc on you're home DVD player? and also im trying to play it on my DREAMCAST and i need a DivX player for it .. is there a way i can just download the whole file it's self insted of doing it all my self?

    Regular DVD player? No.
    MPEG-4/AVI compatible player? Yes (need to be DivX Ultra certified for full DivX compatibility).

    As for the Dreamcast. As I recall there were some pretty serious limitations due to the hardware. Also it won't support any of the advanced divx features, including possibly not recognising the file extension. Fact is that just about everything would need re-encoding to work anyway.
