DivX on XBOX => U get a standalone divxplayer

    Hi There !
    +++

    what do ya think bout putting Divx on
    Xboxes. Xbox is based on pc technology
    with harddisk and GForce Chipset.

    Wouldnt it be wonderful to have a portable
    divxplayer. ( for only round 300 € )

    Does anybody know how to do this ? -or-
    Can anybody give me links or Info
    to this new barrier in divxxing ?

    Linux could/can be easily ported to run on Xbox now that it can be made to boot regular CDs. DivX players etc. are bound to pop up sooner or later!

    I got new information `bout Xbox.
    it seems they turned off cdr/rw
    support so that you cant read those
    media with it.

    Perhaps Linux is the right tool to
    re-enable this support. and.-

    !the divxbox is doomed to come!
