Can someone, please, tell me in which file format I have to burn subtitles together with *.avi file on CD so that DivX DVD Players can read It? I have tried with *.txt, *.sub and *.srt but nothing happened.

not sure what machine you have but if you burn with .srt the avi divx player should work. you must make sure that both files have the exact same filename only the ending should be different (eg. xyz.avi and xyz.srt)

Not all players will play the .srt or .sub files, but yeah, sc64 is right, make sure the files have the same name and also it may depent on the length of the file name, my player (Umax/Yamada) won't play them if the file name is longer then 19 characters
