   I saw an earlier posting for this topic but it didn't help. Again i can get the images but i aint gettin any sound... help please cos' i have lotsa simpsons to catch up on...

   I had the exact same simpsons related problem. I solved it by downloading the nimo video codec pack that has all the codecs you should need.
