I am trying to figure out how to split a dual layer disc to 2 SL dvd-r discs. I ripped the dvd to an image file but am not having luck splitting that. I have tried using clonedvd but that will not work on the original disc due to protection. I am not as familiar with playing around with vob and ifo type stuff as I am with doing a simple rip and burn of an img file. Is there an easy program or guide I can follow to do this? Thanks

    open the image file
    click author
    and split into two 4.5gb
and then brun onto sl discs

    next use dvdfabhd decrpt

First, you must use a program to remove the various protections such as AnyDVD, then CloneDVD will allow you to split to two discs.

Thanks, I figured it out. It worked well on my img file that I had ripped with dvd decrypter. I did not see how to split it up but dvd shrink compressed it and I replaced the extras with a still image since I didn't see how to delete the extras.
