    I've just finished looking at TVs and I chose an LCD. Every DLP I saw, if you were off to the side or above or below the picture quality really sufferred. The DLPs were cheaper but quality was too.

    @LOCOENG
    I have really been pleased with my Samsung LCD. So far have not gotten the HD sevice but my attic antenna is receiving local HD stations and they are awesome. I have also viewed some of my backups at 60% comp and they look fine in a cheap Daewoo DVD, connected the old fgashion way with 3 cables-A/V.

    Loco I got the Samsung 40 inch LCD. It's totally highly polished piano black. On sale a CC for $1399. Almost bought it last friday for $1599 at BB. Waited till Sunday paper came out. Bought it online and picked it up an hour later after the priced dropped.

    When I get one I don't want to go below 50 inches...don't really want any bigger either though.

    A 50" LCD will set you back big bucks. I had no room for anything larger than 42".

    I don't have any more room for more than 32" at the moment but I'll make room for the 50". I should be able to get one for under 3 grand.
