DMA (Direct Memory Access) is missing!

    I cant find out to turn on my DMA and I think I accidentally deleted it because when I go to device manager I cant find IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers Box!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do I reinstall it? I need to burn some DVD's soon!

    You don't mention what OS you have, but you can roll back with a System Restore point, and see if that works.

    Well, you can try to go back to a previous state, when all was working well, via a restore point.

    If the controllers aren't showing, I have no clue what could be wrong, outside of a virus. Check for viruses and malware/spyware.

    You did shut it down and restart right? It should load all back up.
