Do I Need A Video Card

    Do computer need video cards and what dos it do for you if so.

    I take it you mean graphics card?

    Really depends what your going to use your computer for, as onboard graphics built onto the motherboard would be ideal for word processing and browsing the internet, but if your looking at gaming then an upgrade would be necessary.

    A Graphics card, or Video card is what makes the image on the screen. Some motherboards have very slow graphics cards built into the chipset, but if you play games, you need a dedicated card.
