Do you have Adware, Spyware, Virus/Trojan or a Browser Hijacker?

    i have the avast anti virus and it has found a virus / trojan horse in my winsock.dll files?
    It also found them in all my .dll files.
    I have rung the support line they said to restart which i did lost everything.
    But I still have these bugs in my .dll files how do i get rid of them??

    i am just doing the adaware programme first so far it has found 55 new critical objects but not to sure what to do with them if i delete them will it cause me to crash my computer arent they important

    okay so it is safe for me to delete these files and cookies that are infected....

    okay i have deleted them all there was 55 on the adaware programme and a whole lot more on that ccleaner that u suggested to use heres hoping they gone but will check every week thatnks alot

    did you do as smart scan or a full scan??

    on the ccleaner i did the analysise thing and then deleted all infected files so forth with the adaware i did a full scan and deleted what it found

    well i deleted the files that were infected now i have problems with my registry thing not sure what that means but am doing a backup incase it crashes.

    Hey guys,
    I have finally confirmed something I noticed before. Your internet carrier can also be using spyware on your computer. I use ver- down south and sygate informed me it wanted to send a message-I let it through and got a nasty message about P2P useage. My computer has been screwed for a while. Now I know why. I can trace it to the first day I accepted this carrier. Yuck!

    "DDP" - Hey i did that house call scan okay I had 6 adware things it removed them but i have 21 high risk vulnerabilities ???
    Anyway tried to get the critical updates from microsoft to no avail said i already had them got any more good ideas that housecall was good

    did you go thru the 21 security problems to see if ms is telling the truth that you had all the updates

    @ justice05

    HouseCall gives you a link to the MS page that discusses the problem. I would go to those links and download fixes from there if available. The MS critical updating system only searches for Windows updates. Those updates you need could be for other MS software like Office. So check out those links, worst case it won't hurt to install the updates twice if you already had them.
    You can also go to: http://office.microsoft.com
    and click on "Check for updates" link on the right side to check for Office updates.

    hey would any one know where i might find a programme to get rid of malware.
    I did the housecall and ran a pc check over it and it came up with alot of malware in my files.

    did you try ad-aware se & spybot s&d from previous page??
