We have alot of trouble with Aussie phones m8 especially Telstra and Voda.

If the code fails take the phone to a shop to be unlocked directly with hardware.

    Enter codes without spaces
Remove sim first, power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p)
    Press * 4 times fast for (w)
    Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
    "Code error", don't try again!!
    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!

You're welcome and sorry it did not work out for you, we have been trying to solve the Aussie phones for some time without success.

The Optus network is not a problem and on some occasions I can do Vodafone, but Telstra is the biggest pain.

    Good luck
