I recently been getting these error messages lately. I been burning fine before with my DVD Dual 16x Double Layer Emprex. But now this is the error I got down below, when nero starts burning it after dvd shrink: 1A20-020K-0330-1726-8318-4416 Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: - ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.74, size=164112 bytes, created 10/26/2004 6:35:34 PM Nero API version: 6.6.0.12 Using interface version: 6.3.1.4 Installed in: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\ Application: ahead\Nero - Burning Rom Internal Version: 6, 6, 0, 12c Recorder: <DVDRW IDE 16X> Version: A082 - HA 0 TA 1 - 6.6.0.12 Adapter driver: <atapi> HA 0 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ATAPI === Scsi-Device-Map === DiskPeripheral : Maxtor 6E030L0 atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: Off CdRomPeripheral : DVDRW IDE 16X atapi Port 0 ID 1 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : DVD-16X DVD-ROM BDV316E atapi Port 1 ID 0 DMA: On === CDRom-Device-Map === DVDRW IDE 16X D: CDRom0 DVD-16X DVD-ROM BDV316E E: CDRom1 ======================= AutoRun : 1 Excluded drive IDs: WriteBufferSize: 57671680 (0) Byte ShowDrvBufStat : 0 BUFE : 0 Physical memory : 383MB (392688kB) Free physical memory: 142MB (145844kB) Memory in use : 62 % Uncached PFiles: 0x0 Use Inquiry : 1 Global Bus Type: default (0) Check supported media : Disabled (0) 4.5.2005 NeroAPI 8:11:43 PM #1 Phase 112 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files reallocation started 8:11:43 PM #2 Phase 114 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files reallocation completed (no file modified) 8:11:43 PM #3 Phase 111 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files sorted 8:11:43 PM #4 Text 0 File Reader.cpp, Line 127 Reader running 8:11:43 PM #5 Text 0 File Writer.cpp, Line 122 Writer DVDRW IDE 16X running 8:11:43 PM #6 Text 0 File AudioCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 842 DRM: StartDrmRecording(RealRec:1, ImageRec:0, Copies:1) DRM: Beginning burn process. 8:11:43 PM #7 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 8:11:43 PM #8 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 8:11:43 PM #9 Text 0 File Burncd.cpp, Line 3153 Turn on Disc-At-Once, using DVD media 8:11:43 PM #10 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 260 Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB) Last address to be written: 2286095 (508:01.20, 4465MB) 8:11:43 PM #11 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 272 Write in overburning mode: NO 8:11:43 PM #12 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 2339 Recorder: DVDRW IDE 16X, Media type: DVD-R Disc Manufacturer: Prodis - cF01 Disc Application Code: 64, Disc Physical Code: 193 8:11:43 PM #13 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 438 >>> Protocol of DlgWaitCD activities: <<< ========================================= 8:11:43 PM #14 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 830 Setup items (after recorder preparation) 0: TRM_DATA_MODE1 () 2 indices, index0 (150) not provided original disc pos #0 + 2286096 (2286096) = #2286096/508:1.21 relocatable, disc pos for caching/writing not required/ required, no patch infos -> TRM_DATA_MODE1, 2048, config 0, wanted index0 0 blocks, length 2286096 blocks [DVDRW IDE 16X] -------------------------------------------------------------- 8:11:43 PM #15 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1043 Prepare recorder [DVDRW IDE 16X] for write in CUE-sheet-DAO DAO infos: ========== MCN: "" TOCType: 0x00; You have a few fundamental issues here that maybe relative and worth looking at: a:It appears that your HD is running in PIO Mode. b:Your burner is slave to your HD It is better to have your burner on it's own IDE, like the secondary master, with you cd rom as slave. This should 'free up' your HD and get it back in DMA mode and 'aid' in the data transferrance and reduce data collisions. A definite 'defrag' would clean up your HD aswell and also 'aid' in the process. These steps may or may not work, but the other issue: You are very low on memory, and during the burn I would assume that 'page filing' is really 'nailing' your HD and the system will be being overworked 'so to speak'. Adding some more memory, of course should 'aid' to the process aswell. You are attempting to burn the full capacity of the disc, this is not recommended as: a:Some readers have issues when it comes to playing the outer circumferences b:Burners sometimes find it difficult to burn to the outer circumference as the quality of the dye is lower towards that area. Reduce your overall filesize (with your shrinking program) to around 4300Mb. Definately worth slowing the burn down, to maybe 4x. It has had trouble reading the initial disc, try a different brand of media and maybe the internals of your burner is a little 'dusty'. Hope this helps....................
hi same as baabaa this bit has maybe occured due to errors as it will get lower on dma/pio settings on each error... DiskPeripheral : Maxtor 6E030L0 atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: Off
