Can anyone please tell me for certain if the free download of DVDFab HD version 4.1.2.0 works with Windows Vista Premium and remove all the copy protection like it claims or would I need to buy the full version to remove all the copy protection? Also, do all these software programs work ok together like DVDFab HD; Nero DVD burner 7,8 software; ImageBurn; DVD Shrink; Roxio DVD Burner software? I am planning to buy a new computer that I know has Windows Vista Premium but some come with Nero and others come with Roxio DVD software not sure what versions. Thanks for your help Tom
Yes it works with Vista Prem. I wouldn't install Roxio though. It may clash with Nero. (you can get rid of it with Roxiozap)I would burn with Imgburn instead of Nero. People are having Problems with Nero 8. You may be able to uninstall Nero 8 and install a more stable version.Shrink is a must have. DVDFab HD Decrypter 4. is a great program, updates on a regular basis. Shrink has been around since Moses was in kneePants. Imgburn is the best Burn engine in the free world. with these three Programs No others are needed. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/622748 In my opinion Anydvd is NOT a Must Have. Plus it's very expensive.
correct don't load roxio nero 8 will not autoburn with dvd shrink , it has problems. convert an ISO to the HDD then use nero 8 or as said your best choice would be to use imgburn, nero 7 is more stable than nero 8 or you can use the 1 click programs like dvdfab platinum or clonedvd + anydvd ,use this thread berryone posted for the most up to date info on how to backup your DVDs http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/622748
My DVDFabHD is not working for Mad Money so I went to download updated free version but it downloaded dvdfab5 and I don't want to pay for that and usually it says the free version......what am I doing wrong my AD friends.....maybe I was smarter when I was a blonde LOL....thanks for the help
Hey mumzee, DvdFab 5 as stated still has the option to use HD Decrypter, it's at the bottom of the screen when it initially opens up. I'm in agreement with Berryone. Stick with ImgBurn. Here's a link to a thread that explains how to set Dvd Shrink to autoburn with ImgBurn. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/664041
