   I have purchased a new Dell computer with Vista Windows. It has a burner for dvd's, but I am not sure if it will burn dl writable disks. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

   Click on the link. Find the "Search DVD Writer" box and put your model name/number in click Search. Scroll down for results.
   
   It should give the capabilities of your burner.
