OK watch out for the stupid girl.. I have ripping and burning in genreal down But at the urging of family memebers I downloaded the full season 5 finale of CSI LV as here in Australia the channel that shows it decided to only show half of it and make us wait untill next year some time to see the rest. I dont think so. SO I found a torrent and downloaded. 31 segements in rar form plus 8 other unrecognised files which i think are nothing but I have no idea but im not sure what they are one is an sfv file the other 7 are r4 files?:/ Each avi segement is within a rar. each avi is exactly the same size and has the same name only the rar file itself has a different name. Should I rename each avi as I extract it e.g. csi1.avi cs12.av1 and then some how combine these into one file. or is there and easier way? what program(s) should I use? I have nero and dvd shrink If push comes to shove id be happy to get it in one file and just hook my laptop up to the tv to watch the episode but id rather burn it to a dvd. Help Please.. *Attempts to look cute and girly* becki
when files are uploaded, they are generally split up into lots of smaller rar files...this is purley done to reduce the chance errors occuring [bold]you do not open up each individual rar archive[/bold] simply right click on the first rar file(it should be something like this..."my rar files....r00" etc labeled up to whatever number they were split into, like .r00,r01,r02 etc etc so,right click on it ,and select "extract here", if this is not present, select "open with",then find winrar see this guide for more info http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/207335
thanks for that see I feel stupid now because it was so simple >_> ahwell at least I can now burn it to dvd so the fam can watch the thing Thanks becki
