Downloaded movies, converted

    I have recently downloaded movies in various formats but have had to convert them to play on my home dvd player. However after one hour they stop playing. If i play them on pc they are OK what should I do?

    Should have also said that I am using Roxio 6 cd creator to burn them to disc

    What type of media?
    What program used to convert?
