    Dear adamryan,

It seems your tales of slaying troublesome flash videos are legendary. I've come to you seeking your help against a most formidable enemy!

Hehe, all kidding aside, I'm havin' a helluva time with a news channel video. They're using the adobe flex 3 player, which I've heard is fairly new and fancy. I can't seem to get around a "Unable to connect to RTMP server".

    http://www.news4jax.com/video/21620909/index.html

Would you mind giving it a try and see if you have any luck?

Thanks a ton man, take care!

In regard to downloading and savine e-cards to play on my hard drive, I still am unable to capture an e-card from BlueMountain.com.
I WAS able to use Media Catcher to do it, but isn't that just recording what is seen on the screen, so is second generation and not as good quality as if you were able to actually capture files???
Thank you so much. Here is the link:

"This video either has been removed from Facebook or is not visible due to privacy settings"

I don't think you made the video available to everyone; might have to temporarily change the setting for someone to help you...

I've been unable to download and save an .swf file which I bought and paid for. I've tried using Firefox and Replay Media Catcher, but all it will record is the sound. The video seems to be protected or disguised somehow. Will you please help me? This is the site of the video:

Thank you so much for your help!

I'm completely stomped. I found the rtmp url and put it in various programs but it won't download. Orbit keeps retrying and gives me an error. A little help please?

    Thanks in advance.

Please help me download two videos from the same website. It's all in Chinese or Japanese so even if I did understand HOW to find the swf or avi or whatever it is, the language barrier would keep me from it.
Can anyone help me capture these two humorous videos please?
    The website is
    http://www.youku.com/

    the individual urls are
    http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XOTMwMjAyOTI=.html

    and

    http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XODk1Mzgw.html

Please help me find a way to keep these. The first one, Cow Cow Boogie, was a favorite of my children when they were little, so it's sentimental to me.

    Thank so much!!!!

    Happy 2010 Everyone,

I am having a problem downloading a video from
    http://vidreel.com/video/NTc4NDY0

I have tried, and tried, and tried everything I can find
on the internet to try and figure out what I am doing
wrong, but have failed to figure this one out.

I've gotten as far as downloading orbit downloader, and
I can find the rmtp: address for the video, but even that
hasn't produced anything fruitful for me.

Here's what Grab++ found for me
    rtmp://94.75.237.169/vod/|vod/|mp4:2012.mp4|http://vidreel.com/player.swf|http://vidreel.com/video/NTc4NDY0/2012.mp4.flv

I'm not sure where I'm suppose to place this link, because
everytime I place it in the address bar, it just says it can't
connect to page. I'm really hoping I can find a solution to this because I would like to download other videos off this site.

Please Anyone Who Can Help Me, Please help me find the solution to
    this problem for me.

If it helps, you can directly email me at nomadyck@gmail.com

You guys need to start using a decent browser like Mozilla FireFox. Then get the DownloadHelper extension. Most of the request here, with some exceptions, can be solved this way.
    http://www.downloadhelper.net/

Same for you, just use Firefox and DownloadHelper, and get the same content from herein AVI(divx) format):

    http://www.movshare.net/video/5ou91vrri3ego

    or in flv format here:

No, not for Google Chrome, I don't have another solution.I don't dislike it,I just don't find it useful; if you want to get from your browser more than just navigating the net, then you might consider it...
What were you using before Chrome came out, which is not that long ago?
Installing a second browser is no big deal, just like having any other software on your machine. You will not be able to download it probably without getting another application.
Maybe there is a similar plugin for Chrome, have a look:
